Nancy, a Minnesota native, began her career experiences in 1980 in Southern California, as Manager for Red Robin International. It was here, along with food management, that Nancy took the opportunity to direct promotional marketing. When she learned that her parents were ready to sell their restaurant, she moved back to Minnesota and purchased it from them in 1986.

Nancy's experience includes 17 years of owning and operating Caravan Serai Restaurant. Creative cooking has always been her passion, and Caravan Serai received many awards during her ownership.

In 1990 she started catering out of her restaurant for a small daycare. Soon, several schools were on board, and CKC was born. By 2002 Nancy began to devote her full attention to serving the best school lunches in town. Her school food program training began and her company has become the leader in Charter School lunch service. Since 1986, she has been the President of CKC, where she continues to focus on National School Lunch Programs and good food for all to enjoy.
